About the Matchmaker

I've built my career in the love industry—starting in the wedding industry and ending in the matchmaking world. I've worked on both sides of love: those who found it and those searching the world for the one. I've worked for hyper-local matchmaking firms and as a matchmaker for the nation's largest firm.

The Name "Shooting Cake" started as wedding photographer slang—code for being behind the camera at another reception. The name stuck because it captures what I do: I shoot straight about the sweet and chaotic realities of modern dating. My love for seeing beauty in unexpected setbacks gives life a fun twist on the word.
